Health Improvement Practitioner - Ms Moushira Atcha She is a NHS Health Trainer, and has been specifically trained to motivate, support and advise people on how to get healthy, stay healthy and get the most out of life. Her role is to encourage people to change lifestyle behaviours which are known to cause ill health, and to prevent people getting conditions such as diabetes and heart disease.
Mental Health Practitioner - Mr Brendan Sharples The practice has a mental health practitioner, whose role is to help with assessment of needs of the individual. They can assess, advise, refer and signpost clients to the most appropriate services, their role is to support the patient's who are over the age of 18 with any new or on-going mental health issues. Trainee Associate Psychological Practitioner - Mr Paul Charlson The practice now have a TAPP to offer support, his role will be based of referrals made by the MHP within the surgery. People will benefit from this service as he dedicates time to those in need and can be an advice service to those who are on the waiting list to an outside service. Musculoskeletal (MSK) - Mr Thomas Slater The practice has a MSK (musculoskeletal) practitioner who can treat and refer patients over the age of 18 for any new or on going joint and muscular problems.
