Urgent Appointments
How to book:
If you have an urgent problem, which is non life threatening but needs to be assessed same day, then you should book an appointment by any of the below ways:
- Telephone the surgery on 01204 521 061 after 8am
- Call in to the surgery to see reception
- Request an appointment online by using the Online Consult service - you can also find out more here
- Download and register on the NHS App to view available appointments
The surgery line for same day appointments will open at 8am and 2pm.
We will do our best to offer a same day appointment with a practitioner either here at the surgery, or after surgery hours at Deane Medical Centre (they work in partnership with us to offer an extended hours service).
Genuinely urgent cases will be seen on the day and children under 2 years of age will be seen immediately if brought to the surgery.
Appointments offered:
You will either be offered a telephone consultation or a face to face appointment with a GP or clinical practitioner.
Additional information regarding your appointment:
Please note that a chaperone is available for both male and female patients if required.
If you require a female GP or a GP appointment after 6:30pm or on the weekends, we work in partnership with Deane Medical Centre to offer extended hours to all of our patients. Please ask at reception, as this is an appointment only service and will need to be booked in advance.
